The Neuroscience School of Advanced Studies is home of Advanced Courses and Workshops across areas of neuroscience. The Faculty and speakers are appointed only among the world leaders in each field and the attendees of Advanced Courses and Workshops are established scientists seeking to expand their knowledge as well as younger investigators or professionals. Attending single Advanced Courses and Workshops. Most of the participants attend one or two Advanced Courses or Workshops at a time: they come from the top academic and research institutions worldwide and from more than 60 different Countries. In addition to attending individual courses or workshops, two more extended Programs are offered at the NSAS. A Short Sabbatical. A sabbatical at the NSAS is an intense experience, during which the selected participants may access all of the NSAS Advanced Courses and Workshops of one year. Prospective participants may join the Program for its entire duration or only for a portion of it. More information. The Junior Scholar Program. This Program is offered to students who plan a career in neuroscience, typically at the end or right after their Bachelor’s Degree. The Program is conducted by the same world leaders who conduct the NSAS Advanced Courses and Workshops and dedicated lectures are tailored to the level and needs of the students attending each year.
